Framing & Typography

For this assignment I chose pictures that involve some of my interests. I included my name into them, trying to use colors that already exist in the image, and place the letters on existing surfaces.

For this image I placed the letters on the existing hill, as if they are built on them, or maybe as if they are climbing on it, passing by. I picked the colors from the sky.

For this image I followed the edge of the coffee bean to place the letters. The colors are both from the bean and the background.

This time I decided to create my own base-line. I used the letter “S” both as the first letter for my name and as the surface on which the rest of the letters are on. Since I did not use an existing surface, I also chose colors that do not appear in the photo.
