Assignment 1
Using the shapes: triangle, square, and circle to create simple images.
“Candy” I was just playing around with the shapes when I put together one piece of the candies together, the one with the circle and two triangles. When I saw them I thought of a piece of candy immediately, the kind my grandmother kept in a bowl at her house. From the first piece I got the idea for the second piece in the square wrapper.
“Cupcake” The candy pieces got sweets on the brain, I was originally thinking ice cream for this one but when I was playing with the circles it just seemed like frosting instead, so my mind moved to cupcake!
“Gumball Machine” This stemmed directly from the candy I made. I had fun with this one putting all the shapes inside each other.
“Bow Tie” This one was again my just playing around with shapes and a man with a bow tie came into view.
“Pizza” I had fun with the gumball machine placing shapes inside each other so I started to do it again with this one and when I was finished I saw the makings of a pizza so i changed the colors and it was just that!
